

Tarran J. “TJ” Seymour, 29, of Southington, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home. Tarran was born in Bristol, on May 28, 1992 and was the son of Steven Seymour of Bristol and Shannon (Root) Seymour of Bridgeport. TJ, as he was known by his family and friends, was a lover of the outdoors. In his leisure time, he could be found either fishing or crabbing. He was an avid sportsman in his youth, and a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots and the New York Yankees. TJ loved to listen to music, especially Tom Petty and his song “Learning to Fly” which is what TJ is doing now in Heaven. Besides his parents, TJ is survived by his twin brother Nathan L. Seymour of Southington, and his sister Demree Seymour of Maple Shade, NJ. He also leaves behind his stepfather, Dan Lawrence of Southington, his stepmother Laurie Seymour of Bristol, his stepbrother Christopher Foti and his wife Kate of Naugatuck, his stepsister Brooke Gemmell and her husband Joshua of
Southington, his 3 nieces, Camila Eckman, Ellie Foti and Penelope Foti, his nephew Thomas Gemmell, paternal grandparents Agnes and John Cuomo of Bristol, maternal grandmother Ethel Carlson of Plainville, and his girlfriend Brandi LePage of Southington. He was predeceased by his great-grandmother Lydia Bryant. Calling hours for Tarran will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, CT 06489. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in TJ’s name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
