I met Wes in August, 2001 when he hired me at EGI. I found Wes to be temperate, considerate and (in his unassuming way) positive. He was soft spoken, and when stressed at EGI because of the tight deadlines, he kept his cool. He was diplomatic in the work place, and handled office conflicts calmly and professionally. He was patient, and he recognized the hard work of his employees.

After EGI went out of business in June, 2004, and the following year through a state grant offered to former EGI employees, Wes and I used ours at New Horizons Computer Training Center, in Windsor CT. We were in several of the same classes together. Since the classes were eight hours long, during the break, we?d go out to lunch.

The last time I saw Wes alive was at a Primerica meeting that he invited me to, back in October, 2006. After the meeting, we went out to a restaurant. He told me about some of the exciting things he was learning about investing. He also was pleased about helping people out with their finances.

As far as getting new recruits, he wasn?t pushy, and specifically told me not to join because of him. However, I didn?t join because I had other commitments at the time; although, with his qualities, he was the kind of person I liked working for. 

Anyway, he told me he had to get back home before his wife (Linda) left for work. (Wes appeared to be a man very involved with his family.) 

I was hoping to keep in touch with him from time to time. (He did write two excellent recommendations for me after EGI, and the second one was on short notice.) 

My last visit with Wes was in memory at his wake, when I paid my respects to his family. I also appreciated seeing my former EGI co-workers doing the same. I will miss him. My deepest sympathy.

I want to express my deepest sympathies to the Warren family.  Wes was my boss for a number of years at EGI.  He was a great boss that always thought of and backed the people that worked for him.  He was well respected and will be remembered fondly.

I worked with Wes at both Newfield Publications and EGI and I last saw him at our Newfield reunion in November.  It was great seeing him.  Wes was a wonderful person and he will be deeply missed.  My prayers and thoughs are with you and your family.

I'm so very sorry to hear this news.  I worked with Wes at EGI and appreciated his help and companionship on many occasions. He was one of the good guys that helped get me and many others through the years prior to our closing.  
     I have a meeting with a possible employer on Monday afternoon and a late Dr. appointment, so I'm not sure we will get down to pay our respects.  Please accept our sympathies during this difficult time.
     Wes was a good  person and had my respect.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of his passing.  Wes and I worked together at Executive Greetings for many years and I always will remember what a great friend he was to me. 

I will, unfortunately, be unable to attend the wake due to business travel plans.  My prayers are with his family.

Dear Warren Family,
I so sorry to hear about Wes. I worked for Wes at EGi for 2 years. He was an excellent boss. I was so impressed with his knowledge and experience. He was always quiet during department meetings but never missed anything.  I truly appreciate the opportunity he gave me. I thoroughly enjoyed working for him. He will always be my favorite boss. 
Please take comfort in knowing that others are thinking of you in this time of sorrow and carrying happy memories of Wes.

I was surprised and saddened to hear of Wes's passing. Wes hired me and I reported to him as my boss at Executive Greetings for nearly three years, until the company closed. He was most generous to me when my father became ill in 2003. Over the six weeks of my father's illness, he allowed me to leave a bit early several evenings each week to make the long trip down to Bridgeport to sit at my father's bedside and to comfort my mother. I will not forget his compassion.

I had high respect for Wes's ability at crunching numbers in our dwindling budget at EGI, for his understanding and compassion of the human condition, for his devotion to family, community service and church.

I regret that I cannot attend the visitation hours or funeral service. My heartfelt condolences go to his wife and children.
