
WOLCOTT- Mr. Wesley J. Warren, 58, husband of Linda (Knappe) Warren, died unexpectedly on Friday at his home.
Mr. Warren was born on October 3, 1948 in Dalton, MA , son of the late Fred and Elaine (Hart) Warren. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Print Technology/Photographic Science and earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration at the University of New Haven.
Mr. Warren served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
His career was in print production management most recently with Midland Paper in Westport and was also previously employed by Executive Greetings Inc. in New Hartford, Atlas Editions/ Newfield Publications, and Field Publications. He recently became a member of the Certified Purchasing Managers Association.
Formerly of Dalton, MA and Waterbury, in 1987 Wes and his wife Linda built their home in Wolcott. He actively supported his two sons to the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 231. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
Besides his wife of 29 years, three children survive him. Shawn and his wife Elizabeth Warren of Meriden, Jason Warren currently stationed at Ft. Wainwright in Alaska, and a daughter Erica Warren of Wolcott. He also leaves two sisters, Cindy and her husband Tom Settineri of Naples, FL, Eileen Dohoney of Dalton, MA, and his mother-in-law Mrs. Helga Knappe of Dalton.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial with military honors will be in Edgewood Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Visit www.dellavecchiafh.com for directions and online condolences.
