William Thomas DiRoberts

William Thomas DiRoberts, 76, of Coconut Creek, FL and Southington, CT, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at his Southington home. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Esposito DiRoberts for 49 1/2 years, and loving father of Laura DiRoberts, Michael DiRoberts and his wife Julia Day, and proud grandfather of Sidney Day DiRoberts.

Born on May 3, 1947 in Hartford, he was the eldest son of the late Elgio and Mary

Lynch DiRoberts. In addition to his wife Barbara and his children and grandson, he is survived by his

brother, Robert DiRoberts and his wife Janice; two sisters, Joan Collins, and Maryann DiRoberts and her husband Rick Thompson; sister-in-law Edith Esposito,

and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill worked for many years as an insurance underwriter in Hartford. He loved being outdoors and was an avid pickleball player and golfer. He made many

lifelong friends amongst his coworkers, teammates, and within his communities in both Connecticut and Florida. He will be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 10th, from 10am until noon followed immediately by a funeral service at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. There is no burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue
