

Passed away at Garden City Manor on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Joan (1991). He is survived by his son James (JoAnne) Dickinson, daughter Bonnie (Sal) Zuccaro, grandchildren Jodi, Jennifer (Jamie), Anthony (Jennifer) and Sarah (Leigh) and his great-grandsons Nicholas and Nathan. He is also survived by his brother James (Gloria) Dickinson, sister in law Thelma Line and numerous nephews and nieces. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, he was employed at Thompson Products from 1937 – 1980, was a 5-pin bowler in their shop league and, in 1943, was a member of the Senior B provincial championship softball team.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
