Brian Francis Urias

Sadly, we announce the passing of a dear man, Brian Urias. Surrounded by his family on June 18, 2017 at Port Colborne Hospital, at the age of 64. Husband of Linda (Barnett) of 45 years. Brian will be greatly missed by daughters Tara (Jeff Harrigan) and Krista Gabriele (Paul). Proud grandfather of Adrian, Juliana and Angelo. Fondly remembered by Claytin, nieces, nephews and friends . Predeceased by parents; John and Mary Urias, brother Ron and sister-in-law Joan Spowart. A very special thanks to Susan and Rob Grant for being at Brian’s side every day these past few months. Also to brother-in-law Tom Barnett for keeping him comfortable during the nights. Special thanks to the staff at the Port Colborne Hospital and the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Brian proudly owned and operated Party Sounds Disc Jockey Service from 1972-2006. He was an avid fisherman and he’s off to catch the big one now!

Friends and family are welcome to come celebrate Brian’s life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. For those wishing to make a donation, the family would welcome donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
