It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce on September 20, 2025 at the Marotta Family Hospital in St. Catharines at the age of 75 after a long illness. Sadly missed by his loving wife Margarette for 54 years and daughter Kellie Mason and the family dog Charlie. Bruce is also sadly missed by his siblings Robert (Alma) Mason, Joan (the late Robert) Giles and Gary (Christine) Mason.
Bruce was a former president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton Niagara for 11 years. He was also the president of Lincoln Mechanical Contractors and J&S Heating and Air Conditioning. Bruce was also the former president of the Southern Ontario Modified Lite Association where he shared a passion for stock car racing with his daughter for over 18 years.
A special thank-you to the doctors, nurses and PSW of the Nephrology and Palliative Care Unit at the Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. Family and Friends will be received at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Thursday October 2, 2025 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm as well as 10:00am on Friday October 3. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 3 at 11:00am.
