After a long debilitating illness Diane was peacefully called home to Jesus on March 6, 2014 with the love of her life at her side. Cherished wife of 53 years, beloved mother and grandmother. Diane will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Brian, her sons Mark and Tim (Cynthia) and daughter Melanie (Bryon) and Sarah (Mark), her ten grandchildren and many friends. Diane overcame many health obstacles to become a registered nurse with extraordinary compassion for her patients. An avid quilter and member of the St. Catharines Quilt Guild, she enjoyed making quilts for family and friends as well as Gillian’s Place and Hannah House, she excelled at needle arts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Grace Community Church in Thorold. Cremation has taken place.
