GAMMON, Donald Robert – It is with great sorrow, that the Gammon family announces the passing of Don on December 10, 2013 at NHS in St. Catharines in his 92 year. He was a devoted husband to Norma for 65 years; loving Dad to Mike (Danita) Gammon and Linda (Ivan) Cvetonovic; and beloved Poppa to Allie (Owen) Hughes, Laura Gammon, Lily Cvetonovic and Eva Cvetonovic. Don was predeceased by siblings Stanley, Clarence and Florence. Coming to Ontario from his native Nova Scotia in 1947, Don worked at Port Weller Dry Docks for 40 years. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Buffalo Bills. Special thanks to the caregivers at the NHS, St. Catharines 2A for their compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place and at Don’s request, no visitation is scheduled. If desired, memorial donations to the Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
