It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved brother Donald Alexander MacLennan 57 of Niagara Falls, Ontario formerly of Florence Cape Breton. Donald was the son of the late William and Helen MacLennan. Our brother kind in his actions always willing to lend a hand and anxious to please. Donald loved the simple things in life walking his dog Riley, gardening, building model cars, and spending time with his family and friends. Donald will be dearly missed by his 4 sisters; Judy, Cheryl, Rebecca and Valerie, his 3 brothers; Terry, Brian and Chris and many nephews, 2 nieces (special niece Vanessa) and pets Riley and Scooby. Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother William and sister Donna.
In keeping with Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Hulse & English Funeral Home, St.Catharines, Ontario. There will be a private family graveside service held at Brookside Cemetery, Sydney Mines, Cape Breton at a later date. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
