Edward Graham Penny

Edward was born in Prescot, England, United Kingdom and passed away in St.Catharines Ontario.

Edward peacefully passed away, with his family by his side, on November 04, 2024, at the age of 86 years. We know that he is in glory with the Lord. Edward met his wife Norma (nee Worrall) and enjoyed 50 beautiful loving years together until Norma’s passing in 2006. For the last 17 years, Edward enjoyed a loving relationship with his wife Ruth (nee Hughes). Edward is survived by his sister Maureen (and children), daughter Catharine Anne, and son William Graham (Beth-Anne). Stepdaughter Margaret (Mark). As a grandfather, he treasured a close relationship with Alisa Joy (Steve), Michael (Jessica & son Dakota), Graham William (Amanda), and Julie Anne (Wes). As a great-grandfather, he cherished every moment with our family’s bundle of joy Lyra Elsie. Predeceased by his parents, wife Norma [1956 to 2006], and brother-in-law Jack. Special thanks to Dr. Wickens and many ICU doctors and nurses for their compassionate care and to Rev. Ken MacQuarrie for the visits sharing our love of Jesus. A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Knox Presbyterian, 53 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. At a later date Edward will be laid to rest at the Lundy's Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
