Elizabeth Ann Mott

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Elizabeth Ann Mott (Prosser) of St. Catharines, ON, announce her passing on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at the St. Catharines Hospital. Elizabeth was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to many through her lifetime.

Born on January 15th, 1960, in Baie Comeau, QC she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Edith Prosser (Smith) and she is survived by her father, Charles Bryant Prosser of St. Catharines, ON. Elizabeth leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years, Larry Mott. Elizabeth will be remembered as a woman who found joy in the little things in life and shared this outlook with those who surrounded her.

In addition to her husband and father, Elizabeth is survived by her children, Andrew Mott of St. Catharines, ON, and Angela Mott of Ottawa, ON, along with her brother Douglas (Kim) Prosser of Fredericton, N.B. Many other friends and family members will remember her fondly across Canada. Her greatest joy in recent years was derived from her family pets, who she doted on with love and affection, leaving Benjamin with her children upon passing.

At Elizabeth’s request, there will be no public visitation or service. A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s invitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be expressed directly to family members or left online.
