So sorry for your loss, Pauline.  George will be so missed in the fiddling world. Always so happy to see me, George always invited me to be part of your music gatherings in the fiddle parks. Always so interested in other people and such a positive force to be around. So sad to lose such a great guy. 





Dear Pauleen and family,  My condolences go out to you. I'm so sad to hear of George's death. He was a very kind man and a great musician.  We treasured his visits to the Hamilton fiddle club, the Niagara Fiddle Club (of course) and in Zephyrhills, Fl and oh yes, visiting with him and others at Pembroke, On. So kind to us beginner fiddlers.  When my fiddling wasn't so great, never a frown but a nice smile from George!  He was such a blessing to all of us.  The Angels in Heaven will be dancing to his fine fiddling and piano music! Hugs, Pauleen.

George was an angel sent from God to bless all who ever crossed his path while here on this earth. He had such a gentle spirit and never once do I think he thought himself better than anyone else. He shared the gift of music that God blessed him with and now is sharing his music with the angels in Heaven. Thank you George.

Our sincere condolence to Pauleen and George's family.  He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.  We have enjoyed his music and friendship in Zephyrhills, Florida

OMG where do we start George??? You my  friend have been an amazing friend to John and I over the years.  So grateful for meeting you and Pauleen in Zephyrhills Fl.  George always had a smile on his face and never did I hear him say an unkind word about anyone. He loved you Pauleen dearly,  I know that from taking George shopping to buy you anything from cards, chocolates, and Christmas gifts.  We always had fun together no mattet what it was we were doing, even playing bingo.  George will be forever missed by so many people who knew him.  His ambition for music was amazing, also he could sing a tune or two.  May you rest in Peace George and don't worry when John can't do a job or something doesn't work the way it should, he will still call out for your help. Keep an ear out for that my friend.  Love and miss you dearly, until we meet again.

George  and I first met at the School For the Blind in Brantford. Although George was a few years behind me we did strike up a friendship which eventual drew us back together when we met in Florida as Snow Birds. 
Always a man full of enthusiasm for music whether tuning pianos playing piano and last but not least the fiddle. He could sure make that instrument sing. 
You will be greatly missed George but I know you will be an awesome addition to the band you have now joined.

George always had a smile and always made 
the rest of us smile. He had an amazing memory and when he heard our voice he knew who we were. He let me walk around Hillcrest Park with him and his guide dog  before Yankee. He let the dog lead the way.




I am so sad to hear of George's passing.what a fantastic man,his energy his spirit his love of the fiddle and everyone involved in it.Had the extreme honour ti call George friend for the last 3 decades,his zest for learning new tunes,competing and just having fun at a social function,fiddle club night or just sitting having a chat.
My thoughts and prayers are with Pauline and all if their family at this time. 
May the memories be held near and dear to heart and mind.
We all learned the most from George. 
Don't say you can't, just do it!
