George Charles May

May, George Charles – November 21, 1918 – May 9, 2011 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years Pearl (nee Wetherup 2004), sisters Helen Doyle and Leonar Kuclar, brother-in-law George Wetherup and wife Mary, sisters-in-law Elizabeth McLennan (Stewart), Ruth and Jim Creighton, Mureil and Clarence Robins, Dorothy and Bill Morrison, Mildred and Morris Sharp, Reta and Harold West, Edna and John Lyons, Evelyn and Jack Britt and Wilda Beaudin. Survived by brothers-in-law Arthur Doyle, Mathew Kuclar and Bill Beaudin. George is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss his stories and his jolly nature and laugh. George was a lifetime member of St. Andrew’s United Church in St. Catharines, he was very active in the church belonging to a bowling league, as well as partaking in lawn bowling. He and Pearl traveled extensively and went everywhere together. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Philp Gardner. A private family interment will take place prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (905-684-6346).
