Gino Albert Benvenuto

Peacefully passed away with family by his side on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his home, in his 88th year. Beloved husband for 67 years of Annette. Loving Daddy of Gina (the late Ralph) Patterson, the late Mathew and the late Dennis (Janice). Cherished Grandpa of Lanette (Gerry) Rush, Colette (Phil) Michalicka, Neil (Jennifer) Patterson, Gino (Kelly) Patterson, Susan (Sean) Ireland, Matthew Benvenuto, and Christine (Darryl) Dionne. Proud Papa of Emily, Lily, Cameron, Ian, Donna, Jaden, Alina, Ashley, Liam, Ava, Norah, Caitlin, and the late Meghan. Dear Brother of Adeline (Joe) Morey. Gino will also be remembered by his life long friends for over 80 years; Phil and Joe Rosso. Predeceased by his parents Maturino and Antoinetta Benvenuto. He will be greatly missed by his canine companion “Choochie”. Gino was the proud owner of Artistic Mold & Dye for over 40 years during which he taught the trade to his son Dennis, who joined him in the business. Gino enjoyed many years of travel and golf with his wife and friends, was a member of the Ad & Sales club and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 17, in Thorold where he enjoyed a good game of pool.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Hulse and English Funeral Home, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), from 12 – 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
