Loving wife of the late Walter F. Cox (October 1977); dear mother of Carol Ann (Rick) McGarr, David (Vi) Cox, Bruce Cox. Grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 7. Survived by sisters Katie Bennett and Audrey Kelly and sister-in-law Rosie Brickell. Predeceased by brothers Stan Brickell; John and his wife Dorothy; sisters Doris Moser; Jenny and her husband Jim Brannen and brothers-in-law George Bennett and Hugh Kelly. She was a member of Westminster United Church and also taught Sunday School. Hazel and Walter formed 33rd St. Catharines Scouting Troop. We would like to thank the staff on the 2nd floor at Chateau Gardens for their care of our mom since 2008.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Westminster United Church would be appreciated by the family.
