Hendrik "Henry" Ramaker

Peacefully on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family at Shalom Manor, in his 85th year. Henry, beloved husband of the late Eve. Cherished father of Henry (Lisa), Gary, Linde ( Ernie). Devoted Opa to Yvonne (Dean), Stephanie (Steve), Amanda, and Alain (Kim). Great Opa to 8. Lovingly remembered by his two sisters, his nieces and nephews in Holland. Henry was the proud founder and proprietor of Ramaker’s Imports which he loved almost as much as his family, he reveled in serving the Dutch community and anyone who enjoyed a truly good Gouda. A heartfelt thanks to the staff of Shalom Manor for their loving care and support of our father over the past 3 years.

The family will receive friends at the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346) on Tuesday, February 6th from 3-9 pm. A Celebration of Henry’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at Habour Fellowhsip Church, 51 South Service Road, at 11 am. Private family interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
