YOUNG, Hilda Kathleen (Davidson) – passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2011 in her 91st year. Loving mother to Shirley Fitzsimmons, Bob (Connie) Davidson, Larry (Margo) Davidson and Donnie Davidson. Cherished Nanny to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and her best friend of 14 years her dog Teddy. Hilda was predeceased by her first husband James Benson Davidson; her second husband Everett Young, her long time companion Mike Newman, her children James and Ronnie Davidson, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild as well as her siblings Dorothy and Bill.
Hilda’s family will receive friends at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Hulse and English chapel on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
