It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob after an 18 month battle with cancer and heart disease. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Marilyn (nee Leach); his three children James (Penny), Melissa (Duane Fancy) and Dawn (Steve Jack); his five grandchildren Grace, Hannah, Noah, Ethan, and Tucker; one step-grandchild Thomas; sister Marilyn Romagnoli, brother Richard Barnard; and several nieces and nephews. Bob worked in security at General Motors for 23 years and spent retirement enjoying woodworking, visiting the cottage and being a much-loved "Pop".
Following cremation, friends are invited to gather at Bob's longtime home on Sherman Dr. on Wednesday, May 27 between 6-8pm. Internment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa, ON.
