Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on December 24th, 2011 in his 91st year. Jim is survived by his best friend and longtime companion Renate Dix, dear father of Susan Wallace of Chatsworth, Barbara and her husband Dr. Paul Singleton of Campbellville. Dear father in-law of Faye Evenden, widow of Neil Evenden, of Burks Falls. Survived by 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Beverley (nee Neil) in 1990, his son Neil in 2004, and his sister Gladys Beaupre in 2008. Jim was employed by Ferranti Packard Electric in the Engineering Department for 43 years, 17 years as Chief Draftsman, retiring in 1983, a member of Grace Anglican Church and O.A.C.E.T.T.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Wednesday December 28th from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Hulse and English Chapel on Thursday December 29th at 11:00am. Interment to take place at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery.
