Kimberleigh Tara Daye

It is with great sadness that we have to say "See ya later" to our beloved Kimmie. After suffering from a heart attack on Nov. 2nd, Kim fought hard for a long time. On December 11, 2013 Kim lost her battle. She will be terribly missed by both of her parents; Margueritte Daye and Jack Daye, her siblings; Jon, Karen and Kristina, her children; Avery, Madison and Emma, her nieces; Jessica, Hayley, Carly and Isabelle, and her nephews; Matthew and Nathan. She will also be missed by her Aunt Melanie (Brian), Uncle Jerry (Liz), Uncle Jim (Alice) and countless friends. Kim is also leaving behind her longtime friend Osborne St. Claire. Kim will be reunited in heaven with our Grandparents and our Aunt Moirya, Uncle John, cousins; Emily and Benjamin and Aunt Donna.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. just for one more day

Could I pour out my heart?

Would I know what to say?

You slipped away quietly

couldn’t find your way

gave up the fight

but I needed one more day.

One more day to say I love you

to listen…not just speak

one more day to walk beside you

hold you up when you felt weak

One more day to show I really care

instead of turning you away

saying words of such compassion

that would make you want to stay

But I don’t have just one more day

for you have slipped away

and you don’t have one either

so all I can do is pray

Pray you don’t regret

the words we didn’t say

“I love you for all reasons”

but I needed one more day.
