Lloyd Arthur Lihou

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lloyd on Friday, August 19, 2022 at age 67. He was a man who brightened our lives in ways that words cannot describe.

Lloyd was husband and best friend to Brenda for forty years. His love and companionship will be very sadly missed.

To his children Brian (Amanda), Kevin (Evelyn), Sarah (John) and his beloved Cameron (2005) Lloyd was the father that any family would want to have leading the way. It is safe to say that Lloyd put nothing above his children. He was a fierce and passionate advocate for those he loved and we are forever grateful for his hard work and dedication to providing for his family.

Lloyd will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Hayley, Cameron and Jessie. They were his world and being their Grandpa gave him tremendous joy.

Lloyd will be dearly missed by his brother Greg (Elaine) and sister Chris (Steve).

To his nieces and nephews Leonard, Brittney, Courtney, Tyler, Mikayla, Cassidy, Amber, Shawn and Adam, Uncle Lloyd was the one who spent many summers driving the boat and towing the tube with anyone who dared to get on it. They will miss his big smile and big hugs.

Lloyd was brother-in-law to Dolores and Gary, and Allison and Steve with whom he shared many weekend get togethers and outings. He will be deeply missed.

Lloyd was pre-deceased by his parents Lloyd and Una Lihou and his father and mother-in-law Richard and Karlyne Henry.

Lloyd was employed at NPL Canada where he will be missed by many colleagues and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 7 Queen Street South, Thorold (Sarah and John’s home) from 2:00 - 7:00 pm.
