Passed away on March 25, 2026, at Extendicare in St. Catharines at the age of 100. Predeceased by her loving husband Andrej. Sadly missed by her children Ludmila, Raissa and Jerry.
Maria was loved by anyone who met her. She brought joy and happiness to us all.
Maria worked hard at everything from working on the family farm, to the canning factory in St. Davids and their grocery store on Welland Avenue. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday March 31, 2026 from 10:00am-11:00am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am followed by interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
