Peacefully on Friday, December 27th surrounded by love, in her 102nd year. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Theodore “Ted”. Mom was a wonderful, kind and caring mother to her children: Myrna (Ken), Don (Danita), Al (Kathy), and Ken, as well as a Grandma to Chadrick, Owen, David, Shawna, Brian and Jennifer. She was proud to be known as Oma to eight great-grandchildren. Maria is predeceased by her 14 siblings but lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A founding member of Faith Lutheran Church and a past member of the Dunlop Senior’s Centre.
The family will receive friends at Faith Lutheran Church, 31 Agar Dr., St. Catharines on Tuesday, December 31st from 10 - 11 am. A Celebration of Maria’s life will follow in the church at 11 am. Private family interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Maria’s memory to Faith Lutheran Church, Friends of Linhaven or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
