He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lynda of 54 years. His children; Paul Peschell, Joshua Peschell (Sarah), Ian Peschell (Kimber), and Amanda Bedard (Steve). Mark spent the majority of his working life, working at ITT Aimco on Berryman Ave. Working his way from a day labourer, to a shift foreman. From there Mark moved over to PC Forge, in Port Colbourne. In his retirement, Mark worked at Home Depot in both Owen Sound and Niagara Falls.
His family would like to thank all his medical team who walked alongside Mark with his complex medical needs, and enabled him to be as stubborn as he possibly could in remaining with his family, far longer than we ever imagined. Each day was a gift that Mark never took for granted, and spent that time loving his family well.
Mark’s life was forever changed when he learned about God, and made a personal choice to follow Jesus, Mark had a deep, abiding, faith. He lived a quiet faith, but Mark always encouraged others to trust that God had things in control. Mark was a generous man, who shared whatever he could with others. If there was a need, Mark would do whatever he could to help out.
Family and friends will be received at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service to celebrate Mark’s life at 1:00 p.m. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private burial will be held at a later date.
