My sincere condolences to Nadia's family. I had the opportunity to work on a few files with Nadia while I was in private practice. I was so inspired by how hands on she was with every single department at the Town - she knew and worked with everyone! I adopted this style when I went into municipal in-house and thought of her all the time! I also remember her presentation at MLDAO about the de-amalgamation of Haldimand Norfolk. I've often thought of her over the years and wanted to thank her for inspiring me to do what I love.

I have so many fond memories of Nadia. I worked with her for many years when she was with Pandy Kolton.   I regret not keeping in closer contact with Nadia and want to send my sincere condolences to you. Her passing must be such a great loss. Please know that she left many memories and meanings with so many people that she was associated with over the years.

Nadia, you were my friend and neighbour, and I enjoyed getting to know you. I'm sorry I killed your plants, but Hobbes and I were a great team when he was still here. Your generosity, kind heart, and fabulous pink hair will never be forgotten.

I was just thinking of Nadia today and came across this, I am so sorry for your loss to the friends and family she leaves behind. 

I was actually a student alongside Nadia at University of Waterloo last year, and Nadia often drove me home as I typically took transit and we both lived in Cambridge. Because of this, I got to hear a lot about her incredible life, and I thoroughly enjoyed every conversation I had with her. She was able to continue to show her passion for learning and discussion in the very last years of her life, and that is so admirable to me and something not many people can or take the chance to do. 

Again, my condolences to her family. She spoke highly of those in her life, so you should know how proud she was of you, and I wish you the best as you grieve the loss of your loved one.

Holly has a new friend up there in heaven, she sure did love taking care of her two most precious possessions. Hope you guys are doing ok during this hard trial in your lives. Just know that it gets easier and the memories will flow through your head from time to time. If the tears come let them flow, I still do and she has been gone for 15 years.

There’s something deeply beautiful about a life lived with purpose and passion. Nadia Koltun lived with a rare kind of brilliance - the kind that doesn’t just achieve, but uplifts and empowers. She was a woman of wisdom and drive, a trailblazer, and a lifelong student of the world. That she pursued a new degree at 75 says so much about her spirit and curiosity. What an inspiring life and legacy. 

Sending sincere condolences to all who loved her - know that 'the ones who love us never really leave us'. Her legacy lives on in the lives of those who were so incredibly lucky to know her, be mentored by her, and be raised by her - in the quiet ripple of all she stood for.

My deepest sympathies to Andrew, Stephanie, and all of Nadia's extended family and friends. Although I  only met her on a few occasions, I will remember her as an incredibly smart, inspiring, and kind hearted individual.

Nadia was certainly one of a kind with a great sense of humour and a force to be reckoned with.  I have many fond memories of working with her at the Town of Caledon.   To the Kolton family I extend my sincere condolences on her untimely passing.

I was saddened to hear of Nadia's passing. I will fondly remember getting to know her while working together at the law firm of Pandy, Koltun, and then outside of the office as we became friends. She was a kind, exceptional woman! May she now rest in eternal peace.

I came to first respect, and later to truly like Nadia when we worked at the Town of Caledon. She was intelligent, kind, fierce when needed, with a sly sense of humor that I think many people missed. She was part of our opera group, sharing season passes to the COC, when I really got to know her outside of work.
I wish her children well, as they navigate life now without her.  But I'll bet she taught you so much!

So sorry to hear of Nadia’s death. She was an amazing woman; she had a huge personality; was a brilliant lawyer and had a wicked sense of humour.   Gone too soon.

I was very saddened to learn of Nadia's death. We worked at the Town of Caledon for a very long time together. 
I learned a great deal from Nadia during that time and we became pretty good friends.
We remained pen pals after her leaving Caledon and onto bigger and better things.  
We exchanged emails once in a while, with it being about a year ago when we last chatted.  She seemed genuinely happy with her life and her continuing education and teaching.
I have fond memories of Nadia and my condolences go out to her children.

My sincere condolences to Andrew, Stephanie and Walter for your loss. Nadia was a wonderful person full of life and I will remember her always.

Was good friends with Nadia’s kids in elementary school. It was always such a treat to go over to the Koltun house because Nadia always had something exciting planned for us. Some of my best childhood memories involve tea parties, ROM trips, and meticulously orchestrated games of Pass The Parcel. Stephanie and I lost touch as we entered our teens but we always spoke fondly of the Koltuns in our house. Deepest condolences from the whole Marcon family.

Nadia was part of an eclectic class of high-achieving high school graduates from North Toronto Collegiate Institute. We have continued to meet long into our advancing years and Nadia was a committed attendee. In our high school years we all competed for marks and she was among the best in that pursuit. Fortunately in later years we all learned how to enjoy life, laughed at the silliness of what we once found so important, and engaged in so many fascinating and divergent fields. One of those Nadia had a special fondness for was baseball, and we shared many good stories about that shared interest.
