Richard passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2014 in the care of the Niagara Health System. Richard was born in London Ontario, but a resident of St. Catharines for the past 40 years. Richard is joining his beloved wife, Patricia who passed away earlier in 2013. He was a passionate supporter and dedicated volunteer at the Stabler Centre - Hospice Niagara. Richard is survived by two brothers, William and Larry, adored by four loving sons Mike/Nina, Dave/Michele, Jeff/Kim, and Greg/Kelly and 13 grand children. Richard will be fondly remembered by his friends and family for his humour, compassion, and generosity. He will be greatly missed.
Richard’s life will be celebrated during a memorial service at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel (St. Catharines), 75 Church St. on Thursday, May 8th at 11am. Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday, May 7th from 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Niagara would be greatly appreciated.
