DEVRIES, Robert – Passed into Glory peacefully with his family by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in his 63rd year. Loving husband and best friend to Jeannette of 41 years; beloved father to Sharlene (Lowell) Griffin, Paul (Lorraine); dear Paka to Katrina and Samantha; dear foster father to Jason, Chantel, Clint, the late Chucky and the late Clayton. He is survived by his 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by his sister Alice. He was an active member of his church and music being a large part of his life. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ruo, McMaster University Medical Centre and the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Family will receive friends at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 301 Scott Street on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at the church on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place before the service at 9:30 at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
