On Wednesday, May 11th, 2016 just short of her 87th birthday but after a long life of love and laughter, Sally passed away after a brief illness at her longtime care facility, Chartwell Niagara in Niagara on the Lake with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Richard Laws and her two children Heather Elaine and Alexander Edward Ian. She is survived by her three remaining children Richard (Krystyna), Liz (Simon), and Chris (Kim) as well as two grandchildren, Edward and Matthew. Sally was a long time resident of St. Catharines and a lover of great food, aquafit at the YMCA, beautiful gardens and furry kittens.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Tuesday, May 17th from 12, noon until 1pm. A Celebration of Sally’s life will follow in the chapel at 1pm. If so desired donation made to Chartwell Niagara in Sally’s memory would be appreciated by her family.
