DRAKE, Shirley I. – On September 7, 2011 at the age of 97, beloved wife of Thomas S. Drake (1988), daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice Robinson; sister of the late Winnifred Richardson; loving mother of T. Peter (Cathy), Stephen R. (Phyllis), Douglas S. (Diane), Danae I. Hawkins (Bill Meldrum). Much loved grandmother of Elizabeth, Darcie, Tom, Michael, Stuart, Robin, Jason, Ryan, Teri, Ashley and great-grandmother of 7. As per her wishes there will be a private family service with no visitation. A reception with friends and family to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at The St. Catharines Club, 77 Ontario Street on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to charity of your choice.
