Shirley Mae (Littleboy) Hind

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Hind (Littleboy), who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a short illness. She was 87 years old.

Beloved wife of the late William “Gary” Hind (2005). Loved and devoted Mom to Cheryl Briggs-Jude, cherished Gramma to Ashley Briggs-Jude, and dear Mother-in-law to Wayne Briggs-Jude. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by Precious, the family dog who never left her side. Shirley will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marilyn Downes (2001) and brother Brian Littleboy (2018).

Remembered by all who knew her as one of the kindest, most caring, and honest souls. Her warmth and gentle heart touched everyone she met. Heartfelt appreciation to Jade Brousseau and Lori Littleboy (Jeff) for their outstanding kindness, comfort, and support.

Shirley worked at General Motors for 30 years with her best friend Margaret Pearce and life long friend Margaret Fraser.

Visitation will be held at Hulse & English Funeral Home, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines, on Friday, October 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow on Saturday, October 4th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the funeral home.
