Passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, September 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 97. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his beloved wife of 66 years, Shirley Ilene; children: Linda (Wayne), Carol (Paul), Shirley (John), David (Marilyn), Rebecca, Heather (Jacki); grandchildren: Sal, Crystal, Aaron (Jessica), Melody (Tony), Michael (Julianne), Miranda (Branko), Brittany, Alexa (Todd), Daniel, Melissa (Patrick), Sarah, Ashley, Justin; great-grandchildren: Harrison, Elijah, Madison; siblings: Lila, Jack (Gail); sister-in-law, June. Sidney is predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Rebecca (née Schwartz); siblings: Maurice, Albert, Nathan, Estelle, Ben (Hilda), Lewis (Jean), Sylvia (Joe), Max (Kitty), Arthur (Lorraine), Murray (husband of June), and Leo (Jean).
A Celebration of Sidney’s Life will be held at a later date.
The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
