Passed away at his home on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved father of Virginia “Ginni” (the late Les) Gifford, Barbara, Alan, Harold “Hal” (Melody), Maureen (David) Ellis, and Deborah (Henry) Hildebrand. Cherished “Buba” of Sinden (Jayson), Corey, Jeannine (Timothy), Melissa (Dave), Joseph, Scott (Sara), Sherry-Lyn (Nick), Serena, Samantha, Aaron, James, and Matthew. Devoted and adored great grandfather of 18. Survived by his siblings; Harold, Clifford and Eunice. Skip’s passion for cards and games of all kinds will always be remembered and we will all deeply miss the “table time” shared with him.
Skip’s family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
