Passed away, peacefully, at Woodlands of Sunset in Welland on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in her 88th year. Mother of Bill (Donna), Ritchie (Lori), Steven (Marianne), Stacey, Danny (Lise), and Jason (Crystal). Grandmother of 13 as well as a great-grandmother.
Remembered as Mrs. Marr from many years of being a teacher's helper and nanny; as well as her many years devoted to the Niagara Native Community. Sylvia was often referred to as the "no nonsense" lady. Sylvia is also remembered for spending her time in the garden and enjoying nature to the fullest.
A Graveside Service will be held Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome to meet at the main gates on Queenston Street for just prior to 1:30 p.m. We will then process as a group into the cemetery to the grave at 1:30 p.m.
