Peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Gwen. Loving father of Barry (Sharon) Henderson. Dear brother of Flo (Paul) Fedor and Bob (Perry) Henderson. Predeceased his siblings; Davey, Donnie, Roy, Jack, Jean, Mona, Betty, and Margie. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a Veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Army. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 350. He enjoyed playing cribbage with the St. Catharines Monday Night Cribbage League and was employed with General Motors for 40 years.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
