Yiu-Ping “Margaret” Gong passed away peacefully on August 8, 2023. Loving mother to Wanda (Kyle), beloved Pau-Pau to Khol, and special friend to Brad. Survived by sisters Ying-Ping, Teresa (Shu-Bon), and brother Shiu-Kei (Linda), brothers-in-law Shung-Kai, Thomason, and Sek Kwan; and sister-in-law Shao. Margaret is predeceased by parents Kar Kwong and Sau Ng Mark, sister Lois, brother Chao, and sisters Stella and Karen.
In keeping with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. The Celebration of Life service will be held at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel (75 Church St., St. Catharines, Ontario) on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Visitation will be held starting at 10am, and a service to celebrate Margaret’s life will begin at 11am. A funeral procession to Victoria Lawn Cemetery for the interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Foundation (Canada), Addis Clinic (US), or any charity of choice would be appreciated.
