Claire was the beloved wife for 53 years of the late Clarence Kaiser; loving mother of Nancy (Keith) Buchholz and John (Terry) Kaiser; cherished grandma of Lindsey, Scott, and David (Clara) Buchholz, and Katie (Matthew) Floyd; dear great-grandmother of Kailee, Noah, and Dawson; dear sister of Richard (the late Joyce) Lynch, Michael Robert "Mike" Lynch, and the late John and Maurice (the late Kate) Lynch; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and a friend to many in her lifetime.
Claire was born in Lemmon, South Dakota, to Edward and Anna Lynch, the third of five children. She attended school in a one-room school house through the 8th grade, where after she moved to Idaho to live with an aunt and attend high school.
She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone and later transferred to St. Louis and Southwestern Bell Telephone. It was in St. Louis that she met and married Clarence, and raised their two children.
Claire liked many special interests including reading, keeping up with friends, going to the Affton Senior Center and dinner on Friday's at the Elk's. She was active in the Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry, and the Ladies Guild at Epiphany of Our Lord parish. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the Fourth of July were her favorite holidays. But most of all, Claire loved spending time with her family, and was devoted to her Catholic faith. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, a gift in Claire's memory to the Alzheimer's Association is greatly appreciated by her family.
