Edward A. Brewer

Ed was the beloved husband of Danna (nee Blake) Brewer; loving father of Eddie (Hayley) Brewer; cherished grandpa of Samuel and Henry; dear son-in-law of Vernon and Eliveria Blake; dear brother of Barb (Mike) Potaniec; dear brother in-law of Margaret (Harry) Fitzgerald, Marisol (Jim) Pfaff, Jimi (Connie) Blake, Joe (Libby) Blake, and the late Vernon and Richard Blake; a dear uncle, great-uncle and a friend to many in his lifetime.

Ed moved to St. Louis from Mt. Carmel Illinois after high school. He met Danna in 1979 and were married in 1981. He began his career with the US Postal Service and retired after 30 years. He loved to read and talk about all sports. He was a big fan of the golden oldies and loved the old crooners. Ed was funny in his own way, a quiet but gentle man who always had a smile on his face. Ed was a great guy. He was loving and loved by everyone.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, August 22 from 9-10am at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 6401 Wade at Tamm 63139. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am. A Rite of Committal with Full Military Honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
