Williams, Everett Alfred, 90, passed away on Sunday July 5, 2015. Beloved husband of Betty J. Williams (nee Giesler); dear father of Michael (Sharon) Williams and Timothy (Stacy) Williams; grandfather of Andrew, Jennifer and Ryan, Hope, Drew and Aron.
Mr. Williams retired as a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy after over 30 years of service, seeing action during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After retirement, he earned a B.A. from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a M.A. from Webster University in St. Louis.
He served on the American Red Cross disaster response team for many years, traveling worldwide to assist those in need.
Mr. Williams helped establish Harmony Church in St. Louis City, where he and his wife helped to set up and manage a food bank that benefitted the lives of many.
Visitation from 4-8 pm on Thurs., July 9 with Funeral Services at 11 am, on Fri. July 10, both at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
