

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Donald Reece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary D’Agostin and father and mother-in-law Louis and Grace Ostertag, sisters Derna (the late Dante) Prosperi, Shirley Jean (the late Richard) Maloney and sister in law Veronica (the late Donald) Pierson.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Ann (the late James) Ruckman, many nieces and nephews, great and great-great as well as many dear cousins and friends. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Gloria was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. A devoted Catholic, she lived out her faith and practiced it daily by selflessly caring for and serving others.
Gloria and Donald enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, and long rides in the country. True to her Italian heritage, Gloria had a love for welcoming and feeding those who came calling. Going to visit Aunt GoGo (as she was affectionately called) and Uncle Donald was a special treat. After a long and dedicated career, she retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone.
Gloria’s example of compassion and humility will not be forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, from 9-10am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street, 63109. Funeral Serviced at 10am with Rite of Committal immediately following at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
