Lloyd Kenneth Wallace, also known as Ken, passed away on July 22, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89. He was born on April 20, 1934, in Ferguson, Missouri, to Lloyd Perryman Wallace and Margaret Hulett Wallace.
Ken was a loyal and affable individual who was known for his kindness, generosity, and dependability. He always dressed to the nines and had a strong sense of style. He was deeply devoted to his family and his friends.
In his educational journey, Ken attended Ferguson Elementary for his primary schooling and later graduated from Ferguson High School. He further pursued his higher education at Washington University.
Ken proudly served in the U.S. Army, contributing to the nations miltary associations.
Throughout his career, Ken excelled in retail sales and management. He worked for esteemed establishments such as Stix, Baer & Fuller, Garlands, Boyd's, and Neiman Marcus.
Ken found solace and community at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, where he worshipped.
In his leisure time, Ken enjoyed listening to music, reading, collecting pieces of Asian and Russian art, assembling complex lego structures, and spending time with his grandson Graeme.
A memorial service will be held at Hoffmeister Colonial, located at 6464 Chippewa Street, St. Louis, MO 63109. Visitation 11am until time of service at 1pm on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, MaryAnn Kay Wallace, and their children: Mark Alan (Lori) Wallace, Mike Brian (Mary) Wallace, and Neal Kenneth (Erin) Wallace. He was a cherished grandfather to grandsons Christopher (Shannon Masterson) Wallace and Greame K. Wallace.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Perryman Wallace and Margaret (Hulett) Wallace.
In memory of Ken, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Webster Groves Presbyterian Church.
