

Preceded in death by father, George Preston Bilheimer, Jr., mother, Janice (Weaver) Bilheimer, sisters, Vida Hancock and Jean Jacquard. When Leonard was made, they broke the silly putty mold. Married for 49 laugh-filled years and 11 months to Tharon (Terry) Bilheimer. He was hero to son, G. Preston Bilheimer, III and daughter Eleanor (Joe) Walters. He was the best paper airplane maker and fixer of all things broken for adored grandson Nathan Walters (PawPaw, how does this thing work?) and granddaughter, Aria Walters.
Brother-in-law, Tom Tucker, Uncle Lizard to Julie (Craig) Eudy and Jennifer Tucker. Dear uncle to Jennifer, Cameron (Rebekah) and Zachary Zetty. Great uncle to Alex, Martin, and Owen Zetty.
Leonard worked at Maritz Inc. for 38 years in many capacities. (Leonard, how does thing work?)
Leonard and Terry finished their bucket list and had many wonderful adventures and saw many amazing sights. His fondest memory was of the overwintering Monarch butterflies in the Mountains of Mexico.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
A celebration of Leonard's life will be held at a later date. Donations to a charity of your choice,and please, tell someone an awful joke.
