Lorraine G. Harry

Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late William Lee Harry; loving mother of Bill (Liz) Harry; cherished grandmother of Jeremy, Josh, Jessica, and Jennifer Harry; devoted GiGi of Jesse Harry; a dear aunt, great aunt, and a friend to many in her lifetime.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Edmond, her sister Dorothy (Sam) Millman, and her six brothers, John, Bill, Mike, Walter, Joe, and Freddie Edmond.

Lorraine was loving, funny, and had a great sense of humor. She had amazing penmanship and studied calligraphy for fun. She enjoyed nature - bird and flowers. She loved all her extended family and cared very much for her nieces and nephews, and their children. Even in her later years, she maintained close relationships.

She quickly made friends at her retirement home. She loved to kid around with the nurses and staff, and always had a friendly greeting for everyone she encountered. Moving to the retirement home allowed her to take life a little easier and see her family more often.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 15 from 4-7pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Funeral Service will follow at 7pm in The Chapel. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's memory to the Saint Louis Zoo, the Missouri Botanical Garden, the World Bird Sanctuary, or a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
