

She was born in 1928 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Howard and Thelma Wright. One of six siblings, she was preceded in death by brother Howard Wright and is survived by sister Allegra White and brothers Douglas, Bruce and Angus Wright. Beloved wife of the late James H. Davis, she was mother and step-mother of the late Rebecca Barnard (Richard Rubin), Victoria (Randall) Brown, Chris (Mia) Barnard, Frank (Eileen) Davis and Charles (Linda) Davis. Lynn was grandmother to eleven grandchildren.
Lynn graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas and attended Iowa State University. She spent many years as a nursery school teacher at the Washington University Nursery School before becoming a consultant for the Child Daycare Association.
A committed and passionate Unitarian, Lynn was a founding member of both Eliot Unitarian Chapel in Kirkwood and Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Fellowship in north St. Louis County. In retirement, she and her husband Jim worked tirelessly to advance the mission of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples in Naples, Florida.
A believer in equality and social justice, Lynn was active for many years in Freedom of Residence.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Lynn’s life at a date to be determined.
