Mike was one of the best guys I've ever met I'm going to miss him.

Mike is a man whom I knew for a short few years but am glad I did. When I had occasion to meet him he was kind and generous with his words. He liked to talk about his bike, cars and being a bell ringer for Santa for the past few years. I always left his company feeling good.   Gerry Ortego

I had the pleasure of working with Mike at the Royals stadium for several years.  Mike had a great humor and an even greater love for the country that he proudly served as a Marine.  Mike was a true friend and coworker that I will always miss.  SEMPER FI R.I.P. my friend.

Michael was one of the kindest men I have ever known. He had a way of making you feel welcome that was unsurpassed, and I would often think of him when I felt blue because his mere presence, his voice, his stories, his way of making you feel like you were important brought me so much joy, even though we were not often in the same place, when I did see him, it was like having my cup filled with happy memories that would last until we would meet again. My husband Dan still recall with great happiness the day he met Michael. He was so impressed with his graciousness, warmth and humor, and he asked me to send his love and sympathy to my dear family. 

Michael was a wonderful cousin to me and my siblings, and I am deeply saddened to have lost him. But even more so, I am profoundly sad for my dear cousins, my uncle, his beautiful children, and  his lovely wife. I love you all, and I send my deepest love. Peace be with you... Mike was one of a kind!  He never knew a stranger and he won you over with his smile.  Whenever he saw me he would say "that Deana is something isn't she" and you could see in his eyes how much he loved her.  I admired Deana's pink boots last year and the next thing you know there's Deana giving me a bag with a box containing pink boots because when she told Mike I liked them he wanted me to have a pair.  It didn't snow after that.  Now I think I'll display them on a shelf so I can see them everyday and smile knowing Mike is keeping an eye out on all of us, especially Deana.

I pray for strength for Deana and the family of Michael Holleran.  It is obvious that this man was deeply loved, by the many stories and pictures Deana is always so proud to share around the office.

So sorry for your loss. Mike I'm going to miss your smile the most. First base will not be the same without you. You came from the outfield with me when I moved to first and would do anything you were asked. I was so proud when you got your award last year and you were so happy for it. You definitely deserved it buddy. Say hi to mom for me and keep that smile overlooking us. Already miss you so much. You're home now. Can't wait to see you again.

I am very sorry for your loss. Mike was a great guy loved working with him at the Royals. Always had a smile on his face. He was one of the people out there that could alway get me laughing. Next year will not be the same without him. Mike you will be missed by all.
