

BALLENTINE, Nina Katherine (nee Licare), 92, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late Ross and Mary (Salvato) Licare; dear mother of Bruce R., Keith A., Paul F., and the late David R. Ballentine; dear sister of Vincent (Liz) Licare, Richard (Darlene) Licare, Joy (Mike) Bader, and the late Ross, Sam (Joyce), John (Dorothy), Michael Licare,and Marie Buselaki (Mike-Otto) ;dear sister-in-law of Lorraine,dear grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, and kind and cheerful friend to many.
Nina was an avid lover of life. She enjoyed every minute to the fullest. She delighted in being with her choir members (40 years) and her “Epiphany Family,” as a lifelong member. She also enjoyed her membership in Epiphany Ladies’ Guild and Martha’s Group. She enjoyed her Lab, Lukie, and her Spaniel, Jingles.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the following: The Dominican Sisters of Epiphany; The care and concern given to Nina by the 4-ICU at St. Mary’s Health Center especially the final service by Chaplain Mary Virginia Statzer. Nina will be forever loved and deeply missed but she is safely in her Savior’s arms attending the Resurrection Reunion!
SERVICES: Visitation 10-11am Friday, Feb.15, 2013 at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church 6596 Smiley Ave. followed by Mass at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
