Miss you Aunt Patty!! Your spirit lives on in my heart.

My deepest condolences to you all,
I only met Patty a few years ago at the family reunion.  My father ( Harold Ralph Ambrose) and she were 1st cousins.  She was a very sweet lady and a welth of information on our family history. 
 She has always been very dear to my father and he regrets being unable to make the trip from South Dakota.  Our prayers are with you all.

We've had the pleasure of knowing Bob Mazanec for more than 25+ years. We met in a small CO town and our friendship grew around similar interests. During the course of our friendship, we were fortunate to meet Bob's Mom and Dad. Of course, we were deeply saddened when his Dad passed while we were still living in CO. We did our best to provide support and love. Since that time, our lives have all changed, significantly. We continue to share a close, caring and loving friendship of many decades with Bob, his Mom and Kathy. We're honored to call them "friends." When Miss Pat visited Mexico, we were so pleased to have her visit us, our home, our pueblito and experience some truly Southern, South of the Border hospitality. As a GA girl, hospitality is important to me. Hugging Miss Pat was so special and I could feel the love, kindness, compassion, empathy and genuine interest in others. The length of that hug may have been 5-10 seconds but for me, it was everything I needed (having lost my own precious Mama to lung cancer in Dec. 2013.) It felt so good, so real, so true to hug another Mama who truly loved and cared for her family and friends. Our time spent together was relatively short but I kept up with her activities through Bob and was always so pleased to learn how she remained active and involved with her family, friends and as a volunteer for so many who counted on her. Both my husband and I mourn the loss of this wonderful, kind lady who gave so much to so many. Bob, Kathy, family, we encourage you to lean on family and friends during this terribly difficult time. Know you are loved and supported. Thinking of you all, sending heartfelt condolences. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I will miss my email buddy. She and I have kept one another apprised of the goings on in our families by email for some time now.  I loved reading her stories and sharing in her life through this communication. It has been my pleasure and honor these past few months to keep her in my prayers. Rest In Peace, Pat.

Pat was one of a kind! She greeted me with open arms, and oh those hugs were the best. She was witty  and quite the storyteller. Being one of the matriarchs of our family, she had a wealth of information of our family tree. She will be greatly missed in our family reunions. even more I will miss the occasional card, letter or email that I would receive from her. We are praying for comfort and peace. With great admiration and a heart full of love she will be deploy missed. But her  memory we will definitely carry on.
