Rick was the cherished father of Lauren (Keith) Goodman; loving Pop-Pop of Veronica and Styles Goodman; dearest brother Kathleen (Joseph) Nolan and the late Sally (Vernon) Crow; dear uncle, great-uncle, and a friend to many in his lifetime.
During the 1960's and 70's, Rick was involved with a couple popular bands in the St. Louis area, The Impacts and The Soul Sensations. later, Rick became a math teacher for the St. Louis Public School System.
After retirement, he spent his time with his grandkids, doing some hunting and fishing, and enjoying the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues, as well as college football.
He was especially fond of Lauren's dog, Gino. He considered Gino his "grand-dog."
Rick was funny, always ready with an off-colored joke, patient, generous, caring, thinking about others more than himself. He will deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His family is grateful that he is at peace.
