Dear Aunt Martha,

You know how close I am to you and Uncle Roy.  You and Roy were like a second Mom & Dad me.  Roy was truly an intelligent, interesting and accomplished person, an inspiration to anyone who knew him and a success at everything he did.  He will be missed by all of us.

Dear Martha, Bill, & Marsha:
Our deepest sympathy to you all.  We were sorry to hear of Roy's passing.  I have many fond memories from my childhood growing up in St. Louis of Roy as a great photographer.  He took many pictures of me as an adolescent and in my teen years and was even our very own wedding photographer back in 1961.  He loved that hobby. He and Martha loved to go dancing with my Aunt Em & Uncle George. What great dancers they all were.  He will always be remembered for his enthusiastic spirit.

There are no words that can express my sympathy for your loss.  He was wonderful father in law and grandfather my fondest memories is when him and I use to dance when Bill played,and when Ryan was born he was so excited knowing that he had a grandson to carry the Lynch name, and had the thrill of Ryan taking his first steps to his grandpa.  He will be missed by all.

Living next door to you guys was great,
when anything broke you went to see roy lynch, mr fix-it.He had all of the tools to fix anything,and as a young kid i was always in roy's garage watching him do his majic repairs.I don't know how many times your dad brazed my handle bars back together on my bike,he would stop what he was working on to get me back on the road,your dad was the best!

Your dad was truly a special person; a devoted husband, loving father, and friend to everyone. He always treated Connie and me so well. One of his finest qualities was that when you were talking to him, he made you feel like you were the only person in the world. He got me addicted to Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, as well (one of the greatest moments in my life)! If Ted Drewes gave your father a dollar for every person he introduced to the custard, Roy would have been on the list of the world's richest men. And when you think about it, Roy was rich, in kindness, compassion, and love for his fellow man.

We'll be praying for you and the rest of the family.

Bill I am really sorry to hear about your Father. I remember him well as a great man. I think about the times on the Admiral with him and the Younger Brothers and you can't forget Ted Drews.

Martha, Bill, and Marsha, Roy was a good friend, a good Photographer, and just one of the guy's. He was a lot like my Dad his age to us didn't matter he was always around to help. As a military person a good soldier, and veteran. He will be missed.

Roy was a wonderful next door neighbor to grow up next to; he always had a smile. He took Marsha and I to a few of Bill's go-kart races; he told us girls when we spent the night in the clubhouse that our Imo's pizza had just been delivered; he was always working on something in his garage or working with the band; he and Marsha introduced me to Ted Drewes' frozen custard when I was ten years old and I thoroughly enjoyed reading his WWII memoirs in 2002.  I have seventeen years of memories.  He will be missed and I'm glad I was able to visit with him and Martha in September, 2008.
