Susan Vaughan Haddock

Susan was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and was raised in Webster Groves, Missouri. After graduating from Webster Groves High School in 1964, she continued her education at Rollins College in Florida, where she earned a degree in Art.

Susan had a varied career in administration in different areas of the country with such employers as FEMA, the IRS, Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and most recently Pfizer Corporation from which she retired.

In later years she made her home in Crestwood, Missouri, where she found great joy in her beloved pet dogs: Jakie, Agatha, and Mac.

Outside of work, Susan’s interests found her digging into family genealogy, painting and playing mahjong. She was an avid reader, always an open book by her chair.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. James N. Haddock and Dorothy V. Haddock. She is survived by her sister Ann and brothers William, John and Roger, and their wives, and several nieces and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's memory to your favorite animal charity, reflecting her love for her cherished canine companions.

Interment will be private.
