

Ann grew up on a farm, and attended Lamberton High School, in Lamberton, MN. After graduating, she worked at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, where she met her husband Loren Fenske. After moving back to the family farm, they lost two children in infancy and Loren died after serving in the army.
Ann moved to the Twin Cities, finding work in housekeeping, janitorial services, and child care. Her son, David Verschoyle was born in 1967. Ann shared her musical talent by singing in the church choirs, playing bells, and arranging the music for the church service, including assembling hymnals for members of the church. She contributed to many bazaars with her quality knitting and embroidery. Ann loved gardening and had a particular talent with geraniums. She was blessed to be able to travel, and enjoy baseball games with companion Al Baird.
Ann is survived by her son, David Verschoyle, Richfield, MN; sister, Jane Simpson, Albertville, MN; sister-in-law, Diane Boelter, White Bear Lake, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by two infant children, her husband, Loren Fenske; her parents, Gerhardt and Marie Boelter; siblings, Don Boelter, Karen Nelson, and Marion Walz; and special companion Alan Baird.
